1. About these terms
These terms apply to your use of this website and to our quotes, free demos and audits. "We", "us" and "Web3matrix" mean Web3matrix, 116 Cavell Street, Whitechapel, London E1 2JA. By using this website you accept these terms.
Project work is also governed by the proposal or contract we agree with you. If these terms and your signed proposal or contract conflict, the proposal or contract applies.
2. Using this website
You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You must not:
- try to gain unauthorised access to the website, its server or any connected system
- introduce viruses or other harmful code, or disrupt the website
- copy large parts of the website, or scrape it, for commercial use without our permission
- use our forms to send spam or misleading information
3. Information on this website
The content on this website is general information about our services. We work to keep it accurate and up to date, but we don't guarantee that it is complete or current, and we may change it at any time. Statistics we publish link to their sources.
4. Quotes and estimates
Prices and timelines shown by our online tools are planning estimates, not offers. A quote becomes binding only when we confirm it in writing.
5. Free demos and audits
Free demo homepages and website audits are offered without obligation. To prepare them we may use publicly available information about your business, such as your current website. Demo designs remain our property until you engage us for the project.
6. Starting a project
The scope, timeline, price and payment schedule for each project are set out in your proposal or contract. Work starts when you have accepted the proposal and met any conditions it sets out.
7. Payments
Payment amounts, due dates and any instalments are set out in your proposal or contract.
8. Your responsibilities
- You confirm that content you give us, such as text, images and logos, is yours to use.
- You make sure your website complies with laws that apply to your business, including advertising, privacy and accessibility rules.
- Projects depend on timely content and feedback. Delays in providing them may change the timeline.
9. Third-party services
Projects often use third-party services such as hosting, domains, plugins, themes, payment gateways and AI providers. These are subject to their own terms, prices and availability. We aren't responsible for their outages or changes, but we'll help you deal with them as set out in your proposal or support plan.
10. Intellectual property
The content and design of this website belong to Web3matrix or our licensors. On full payment, ownership of project deliverables passes to you as set out in your contract. Third-party software, themes, fonts and images remain under their own licences.
11. Confidentiality
We keep information about your business and project confidential and use it only to deliver our services, unless you agree otherwise or the law requires us to disclose it.
12. AI features
Where we build AI features, their behaviour, costs and limits are described in your proposal and on our AI & data use page. AI output can be wrong, so you remain responsible for reviewing it before relying on it.
13. Links to other websites
This website links to other websites, including client projects. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content.
14. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
The information on this website is provided for general guidance, and we aren't liable for loss arising from relying on it. Our liability for project work is set out in your proposal or contract.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Terms agreed in a signed proposal or contract don't change without your agreement.
16. Governing law
For project work, the governing law and the courts that deal with disputes are set out in your proposal or contract. If you are a consumer, you keep any rights you have under the law of the country where you live.
