AI & data use.
How Web3matrix uses AI on this website, in client projects and in our own work, and how we protect your data.
Last updated: 24 October 2026
1. Our approach
We use AI to build faster and to add features such as assistants, AI search and automation to client websites. We use it with clear limits and human review, and we tell people when they are dealing with AI.
2. AI on this website
- The assistant on our homepage is a demo. It answers from a fixed set of answers about our own services and links to the source page. It doesn't send your questions to an AI provider.
- Interactive tools such as the audit checklist and cost estimator run entirely in your browser.
- We say clearly when something is AI or a demo.
3. AI features we build for clients
- Assistants tell users they are talking to AI and hand over to a person when needed.
- Assistants answer from content the client approves, and we test them before launch.
- Clients choose the AI provider and its data settings. The provider processes conversations under those settings and its own terms.
- We don't use client data to train AI models unless the client agrees in writing.
- We collect only the data a feature needs. Clients decide whether conversation logs are kept and for how long.
4. How we use AI in our own work
Our team may use AI tools to help with drafting, coding and testing. A person reviews and checks everything before it is delivered. We don't paste client confidential information or personal data into public AI tools without the client's permission.
5. Decisions about people
We don't use AI to make decisions about you. In client projects, we design AI features to support people, with a person involved in any decision that significantly affects someone.
6. Limits of AI
AI can make mistakes. We don't use AI to give medical, legal or financial advice, and we design assistants in regulated sectors to refer people to qualified professionals.
7. Your choices
- You can always ask to speak to a person instead of an assistant.
- You don't have to use AI features to contact us or our clients.
- For personal data we hold, you can use your rights under our privacy policy.
